I get an email from Printer that the girl from http://twitchypua.blogspot.com/2007/07/day-3-teaser-got-teased.html wants to meet up with me.
If you recall, she wouldn't give me her number after we did everything but have sex in the club. Since I had no way of contacting her, it was a good feeling to know that she had regrets about blowing me off.
Since I am trying to improve myself, I had analyzed my actions of the evening to determine where I went wrong. I chalked it up to being too eager, not teasing enough, not leading the situations, not doing enough take-aways and not running jealousy routines when she was playing hard to get. Sinn thought it was just because I escalated too much in the club which is a proven deterrent to hookup success.
Before I go out, my ex that I stayed the night with last night calls and wants me to come over again. We had a great time last night so I am tempted but I don't want to start dating her regularly again so I tell her I have to work late.
I grab a work out, shower and head out to meet up with the boys.

They were encouraging us to grab a stall to finish but she pulled away and left anyway.
The night goes on with Asian and I dancing, talking, drinking and making out. I was smart this time and drank nothing but water for the last hour and a half so I didn't have another cop incident I couldn't get out of.
Around 12:30, Capt Jack tells me to get her out of the club and back to my place or I am going to lose the deal. I try to get her to leave with me but she tells me she drove her friend and they want to stay until the bar closes. She swears she will hang out with me afterwards at Printer's house.
At 1:30, I get a booty call from a girl I haven't closed yet. Caller is a cutie and I definitely want to get down with that sometime however, I have Asian hanging all over me and don't want to blow this situation. I confirm again with Asian that we are all going to hang out after the club closes before reluctantly turning down the booty call.
Club closes and Asian can't find her friend. Asian drove so we go out to her vehicle and make out waiting for her friend to show. While in the car, Asian keeps trying to get my pants down. I am pretty confident she wouldn't have resisted but we are directly under a street light with the light shining in on us. She doesn't have tinted windows and I don't want to get arrested so I tell her to wait until later.
We finally call her friend and find out that she is in another vehicle with a guy. Her and the guy were making out earlier but now there is some drama ensuing. Asian and I go to the guy's vehicle, crawl in the back seat and continue making out and grinding on each other while the other two discuss whatever it is they are discussing.
Finally, I tell Asian I have to go and ask if she is coming with me. She tells me she has to get her friend back home but wants to see me later. It is now 3am and I have to work in the morning so I tell her anything more tonight is out of the question.
She asks for my number and I give it to her this time. She says she wants to hang out tomorrow night (Thursday) but I am non-commital as I already have a date lined up. I tell her to call me and we will figure it out.
I walk her and her friend back to their car and then start walking to mine. I see Sinn and Capt Jack who are making fun of me for failing to pull Asian again. I even got an "I told you so" from Capt Jack. Bastards! =)
I know I played the game by the text book this time. Comfort, take-aways, jealousy, teasing, amping her buying temperature without escalating too much, telling her what I would do to her if we were alone, etc. However, logistics, the bane of all PUAS, got me.

Day 17 - Worked the phone
After a late night last night and a long, hard day of work today, I decide to not hit the bars tonight.
I work the phone instead and set up 2 dates for later this week including the girl I number closed last night. Her and I continue to flirty text the rest of the evening.
I also talk another girl into emailing me bikini photos of herself. Excellent!

Avoid a DUI
After the events of last night, I thought I would pass on some invaluable advice I was given about helping avoid a DUI arrest.
I was waiting in the lobby for a job interview with another guy a while back. He was obviously nervous and I guess felt the need to talk to calm his nerves.
He told me he was worried he wouldn't get hired because he had a DUI. He gave me the whole background story of the arrest including what his lawyer told him he SHOULD have done.
Last night was the first time I had to put his advice into action but it seems sound and it worked for me last night.
First, DON'T DRINK and DRIVE. Its dangerous. Its foolish. I was actually almost killed by a drunk driver last year who passed out and hit me at 60mph while I was stopped at a red light. It sent me under a truck and totalled my 5 week old vehicle. Trust me, it sucked.
However, if you have been drinking even a small amount and get pulled over under suspicion of drunk driving, you need to know how to act. A friend of mine just a month ago got arrested for DWI (not DUI) for blowing a .04 BAC which is technically under the legal limit but the officer thought that he was driving erratically so he was arrested anyway and now has to fight it in court.
When pulled over after even one drink, this guy's lawyer suggested the following:
(caveat, I am not a lawyer. I am not providing legal advice. I am merely repeating advice someone was given by a lawyer)
- Be very courteous and polite to the police officer
- Give him or her your license and proof of insurance as required
- Then respectfully decline to communicate further until you can talk to a DWI lawyer. That is it. Don't talk. Don't conduct any of the tests. Don't breathe into the breathalizer. Don't cooperate. Just ask to speak to an attorney to discuss whether you should take a breathalizer test or not.
If you participate in any of the field tests and you are caught on camera staggering or not looking sober, this will be used against you in court. If you are heard on the microphone slurring your words, this will be used against you. So, don't perform the stupid human tricks. Don't explain yourself.
So don't walk. Don't talk. Ask for your lawyer and then shut up. If the cop arrests you for refusing to take a breathalizer test, then quietly go along. Just be sure you have asked to speak with a lawyer first so that this can be used in your defense.
Be prepared to be pressured to perform. The officer can and may arrest you for refusing to take a breathalizer because in Texas, you are violating the "Implied Consent" law.
You should be prepared in case this happens to you. Carry a lawyer's number in your car that can be called 24 hours a day.

Day 16 - Pulled over
I woke up feeling like shit. My cold had taken a turn for the worse. I am sure it had something to do with being out until 8am Sunday morning from Saturday night but the funny thing is, I felt fine yesterday.
I go into work and suffer through it all day long. I then come home and debate about taking a nap but push myself to work out instead. The work out woke me up and I came back home and played on the computer.
I called several of the girls I am seeing or have gone on dates with recently and my ex that I spent Friday night with invited me over to spend the night again tonight. She is an amazing lay but I am torn between going back to what is comfortable but I know has no future for me or going for new which may eventually pay off for me.

I pull out and go around the corner and notice that a cop is following me. He follows me about 6 blocks before pulling me over. Shit! I wasn't speeding, swerving or doing anything else illegal so I know he was just out stalking potential drunk drivers.
He tells me he pulled me over for having no front license plate. I tell him there is no room for a front license plate on these cars which is true. He tells me it is state law and then mentions he saw me leave the bar and thinks that I have been drinking.
I tell him I had a few drinks earlier but have been drinking water for the last couple of hours. He doesn't believe me and makes me get out of the car.
He wants me to walk the line and I refuse as I have a bad back which causes me to be unstable, we are in an uneven gravel lot and he has me in front of his car with the spotlight on me so I am sure he is filming this. He gets upset that I refuses and then asks be to take a breathalizer which I also refuse. He tells me he can arrest me for refusing which I know is true.
I tell him I was advised by a lawyer to not take any drunk tests or blow into any breathalizer. I am being very respectful during this time but keep refusing to take his tests and offer to show him the lawyer statement I had drafted up that says I am to immediately seek legal attention and not perform any sobriety tests requested of me. We argue for about 20 minutes and he finally has me do some really simple tests that I agree to.
He has me do a simple test where I stand with me feet together, tilt my head to the sky, close my eyes and tell him when I think 30 seconds is up.
I obviously passed his test so he then switches tactics and accuses me of taking narcotics. I have never done a drug in my life and tell him so but he keeps accusing me. I tell him that he just needs to arrest me then because I wasn't drunk, have never done a drug, but am not going to take anymore tests.
He finally gives me my license and lets me go. I crawl in the car and see that I have 3 text messages from the Asian telling me she had a good night and that she can't wait to see me again.
I call her on the drive back and we make date plans. She is freaked out that I got pulled over and can't believe that I talked my way out of it. She told me that the cops have been haunting this particular bar on Monday nights and that several of her friends have been harrassed by them. I have seen this happen before actually to a country bar in Austin. On Thursday nights, the bar used to have $.69 long necks. The cops didn't like that the special was so cheap so they just pulled over many of the cars that were leaving. Word spread of the crack down effectively shutting down the bar on Thursday nights. They must be trying to do the same to this place as it has $3 martini specials.
When I get home, I pull out my portable breathalizer that I have and blow into it. I am .06 which is legally sober. Thank God I drank the water at the end!

Day 15 - Another day of rest
I finally woke up at 2pm after a hard night of partying. I wasn't hung over but definitely didn't feel 100%. And what really sucked is that I hadn't gotten a workout in since Thursday and knew that it wouldn't happen today with the way I felt.
I ran some errands, got things done around the house and then worked the phone.
I made up with the girl whose dinner date I skipped last night, got into a fight with my ex from yesterday, and talked to and flirted with several other girls including my sweetie from South Texas.
She spent the day drinking with her best friend who I also dated a while back for over a year. The three of us had fun texting each other about who loves each other more and just being silly. It cracks them up that they are best friends and have both slept with me.
Orginally, I had planned on going out to this popular Sunday night club tonight but there is no way I can muster the energy.
Tomorrow is another day.

Day 14 - After Hours
I woke up in the morning after a good night's sleep at my ex's place. Lately, in the mornings, I have been grossly coughing and hacking but I think having a restful evening cured me as I felt better than I have felt in a while.

As I was driving, my previous date calmed down and called me back and asked me to reconsider going out with her. I told her it was too late as I had already made other plans. She text me she was sorry a couple of times later and asked me to reconsider seeing her tonight. I just ignored her texts.
Dinner was fun with my ex. We went for wings and beer and played poker on the TV at the bar. As I was driving her home, she asked if I wanted to come in for a quickie. HELLO! I am not going to turn that down.

This bar is happening. My buddy Vodka joins us too. I hadn't seen him in quite a while so I got caught up with him and Fidelio while the other boys did their thing. Some of Vodka's other friends showed up so I hung out with them some too.
I didn't talk to any ladies while I was there except for this hot bartender I teased a bit. She knew Printer so I was somewhat social proofed but it didn't go anywhere.
There was another opportunity I blew. I guy asked me if I knew how to country dance because he was with some girls that wanted to dance. I do know how but I am not very good and was enjoying catching up with my boys so I said no.
Later, I see the group he came from and there was a very hot brunette in his group. I decided I was going to go talk to her anyway and do some depreciating humor about my dance skills with her. She was moving around talking to her friends so I decided to wait until the "perfect" moment to approach.

The bar closes and the boys all head out. Vodka still wants to party on so he and I decide to go to an after hours bar. This after hours is an all nude strip club by day, club after 4am. Vodka and I tried to bring a bottle of booze in but they wouldn't let us. Normally they do but stopped this policy for some reason. So we bought some beer from some other patrons who had brought it in before the after hours started.

I know I could have tried to game her more but it is definitely time to go. She says no. I tell her I had fun dancing with her and leave.
It is 8:30am by the time I got home and into bed!
